Whilst first impressions were good, in that the communal areas were spacious and contemporary, the room I found myself in was neither of these things. There was limited storage space, the bathroom was in a less than ideal state of repair and it's no exaggeration to say that every floorboard in the room squeaked. Sound carries between rooms, especially bathrooms. It was however clean, the bed comfortable and the staff faultless. A solid 3 stars, no way a 4.
The hotel is very nice. The staff in the hotel are very friendly and always happy to help. Rooms are very clean and the bed are very comfy. Housekeeping staff are exceptional. Not all rooms have mini fridges but some do, you can request one and if one is available they will add it. There was an error in our booking so the disabled room, for my parents, was not available for all nights but the staff did their best. The food in the hotel was very nice. We did have to send one meal back as it was cold but they were happy to sort it. One member of our party was ill and the staff and house keeping made every effort to help, supplying chilled water in a jug and a cup of hot honey and lemon. Cost of drinks are slightly above average. There is a Gym, Pool, Sauna and Jacuzzi. The gym staff are exceptional. There is disabled access to the gym and pool. Sadly, both disabled stair lifts were out of order and watch out for the disabled automatic door as it closed on our wheel chair and closed again as my mum was going through, but pressing the button opens it again instantly. All in all a really good hotel.

A very nice and fresh place. The rooms have been updated and the room we were in was very clean. The staff were very friendly and polite and courteous. No problems at all except with all Premier inns is the bloody fire doors, I know they have to be there but after going in and out of the building a few times they get a bit of a pain. But overall a great experience.
Spacious and clean, albeit modest room. However, more than acceptable. What makes this hotel, however, are the staff - friendly, courteous and extremely helpful. You are made to feel wonderfully welcome and that nothing is too much trouble. If it were possible, the staff would get a score of six out of five!

One night stop. Great restaurant and bar staff. I had a very good meal, both main course and desert were spot on. My room was in an out building. Comfortable but small however, since I was asleep, who cares. Water pressure was poor from the shower. Typical English pub/hotel combination. Nice location by the canal. Good sized car park.
Lovely country pub just outside Chester. Good food, reasonably priced. Only downside is it can get very busy so service can be slow and tables not cleaned regularly

Brilliant food, beautiful pub, decent pint. Only reason not 5 stars was the hit-and-miss take service. Sat waiting with empty plates, and dessert menus took 15 minutes to appear. Service when we had it was friendly and courteous, just didn't seem to be able to get it!
A good family pub/restaurant located in the centre of Christleton. Good menu choices to suit most needs. Children's menu available. Booking advisable for peak times, recommend dining in the conservatory if available as it's light and area. Outside dining available for use in fine weather. Good choice of draught and bottle beers and soft drinks. Wine list available with good choice. Watch out for special offer nights. Helpful staff and waiter service. Outside play area good for children. Large adjacent car park.

Ok good food. Not rushed to eat and move on.
Food has always been really good here and since reopening I am glad to say that has not changed, the best thing is the prices have been lowered on both food and beer! The decor is not very cosy and it's very bright in there but id still recommended it though. they have the football on too! Overall pretty decent pub.
