Absolutely loved our stay at the Cheshire Cat. Beautiful little hotel, we stayed in the annex. Clean, well furnished and decorated and has everything you need. The food was amazing and the staff there are very friendly and extremely helpful. Hopefully we get chance to stay again!
The room was lovely, set by a canal it's a picturesque location and a lovely get away. The only thing that let it down was while waiting to check in we were stood at the check in area of the bar and completely ignored by 3 members of staff that walked past us. Basic service 101 is to acknowledge your customers, even if that's just to say "someone will be with you shortly". Don't let that take away from the reasonable price and lovely rooms/location but the staff could do with some lessons on basic care.

Had a lovely stay and we were treated very well by the staff - service super, evening meal good and afternoon tea good. Breakfast good and service remained positive despite being very busy. Spa and housekeeping team excellent! Thank you :) we felt spoiled for our Big Birthdays.
We had booked a three night stay which included dinner bed and breakfast. The room was a decent size but there was no storage for clothing apart for a few hangers. The bed was large and comfortable. We were woken early on our first night when the fire alarm went off. Everyone had to evacuate and wait outside in the cold and rain for the fire brigade. After about 20 minutes we were allowed back in. There was talk that a toaster had caused the alarm to sound. The breakfasts were OK with a reasonable choice but not up to a standard that I would expect from a 4 star hotel. The same with the dinner the menu sounded good but the food did not quite live up to a 4 star hotel, there were a few problems but the Friendly staff did their best to put them right.

Exactly what one should expect from these sorts of chain, budget hotels... Comfy bed, friendly staff, free tea and coffee, expensive all you can eat breakfast. Premier Inn Chester Central South East is no exception from the above rule. Fantastically convenient location right across from a supermarket and petrol station, attached Brewers Fayre pub offering not bad food at slightly inflated prices. Watch out for the "two course meal with a drink and breakfast in the morning" deal... It doesn't save you much when you work out what you might have from the menu. Car park is a bit of an odd one but just keep driving round!
As always the rooms are really good. Slept well and comfortably, it is let down by the food experience at Brewers Fayre. The breakfast was generous and reasonable quality. I like the buffet style approach. The piped music however was really off putting. I like to talk to my family over breakfast and being hearing impaired at the moment which was impossible with the inane music played loudly over breakfast.

Great whether you're stopping for a coffee or a meal. Food delicious. Staff friendly and helpful.
Lovely atmosphere with fantastic service, amazing starters & indulgent desserts. Unfortunately our visit was let down dramatically by the Sunday dinners which offered hard pale veg and a distinct lack of meat 😟

Food has always been really good here and since reopening I am glad to say that has not changed, the best thing is the prices have been lowered on both food and beer! The decor is not very cosy and it's very bright in there but id still recommended it though. they have the football on too! Overall pretty decent pub.
A newly decorated local pub. Great choice of draft lager and beer. Simple but great food and large outdoor space

Not a place I would re-visit saying that, the two female staff who took our order and served us were charming, polite and professional. The problems started when a rather large gentleman, (I use the term loosely) put in an appearance, he may have been the owner, he exuded self confidence and a little arrogance. He used language that young children should not have heard. We were celebrating my birthday, meaning several generations were gathered together. The food was edible but nothing to write about.
Fantastic night watching a local Band Called " Vinyl Flip " covers from 70s 80s 90s and 00s

Luxurious accommodation. Highly recommended. Brilliant facilities and perfectly located for Chester.
The people that own this can't do enough for you. It's the perfect place to stay.
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!

A lovely place to stay we have stayed here four times the owners are friendly the facilities are basic but very clean what else do you need when you're camping well worth a visit
Great location, fair price, but facilities need a good clean and owners allow their dog to do its business in the camping field!
