Hooper Financial - Chartered Management Accountants

5 Delves Walk, Great Boughton, Chester CH3 5XG, UK – 01244 470478

Further to your recent work for me I thought I’d drop you a line to say thank you for the solution you have given me. Despite your initial call being out of the blue you expressed a view that you could help me with the planning and forecasting within my business and this struck a chord with me. Having spent seven years of my life as a Planning Manager for a ‘blue chip’ organisation the one thing I was missing in my own company was a formalised planning tool. From our initial meeting I was impressed that you went out of your way to understand my business and looked for ways you could create something that would genuinely add value. This approach was refreshing as so many people who approach me are simply looking to sell me a ‘one size fits all’ solution and have little interest in me or my business. The process was simple and frankly you did what you said you were going to do, when you said you were going to do it, which makes you unusual in today’s environment! In terms of the solution, I now have a flexible planning tool that allows me to see where my business is going, assess future capacity needs and provide a flex forecasting tool to help guide future development and recruitment decisions. On that basis I have no hesitation in recommending you to others, and in fact have already sent you one contact that I believe would benefit from talking to you.

Starting a new business of any sort is an exciting time, until that is you spend ten minutes on the HMRC website. That's when you should call Chris. Chris has made the whole process of setting up and running my first company incredibly straight forward. Just half an hour with Chris and everything made sense. Invariably when you incorporate a new company, you get bombarded with offers of accountancy services, all of them making the process sound complex and expensive, it really isn't which is why I am glad that Chris was recommended to me and I could not be happier that I choose him. Chris many thanks for all your help so far. Really looking forward to our first year end!

Local Chambers of Commerce for CH3 8EB. These can be an extraordinarily effective way of getting into the business community and / or getting things done. Equally they can be entirely useless depending on the chair. If they have networking events associated with them definitely go, and keep going, if you have a business that need local support. What you put in is exactly what you get out. Below is the national site. Watch this slot - it might improve!
Boughton Heath park and ride

125 Whitchurch Rd, Great Boughton, Chester CH3 5QD, UK

This is a good quality review. What happened was I parked my car in a designated parking space and then decided to ride on a bus. It was brilliant. I loved the white lines. I spent 10 hours sniffing them before I got on the bus.

Quick easy to use. Very pleased with how frequent buses are. Didn't know exactly where I needed to get off for a meeting but bus driver was very helpful & made sure I got off where needed to. Thanku. Very quick & ready on return also. Only scary part....which is no fault of park & ride but exiting the car park to go into island to come back down the same road to A49. Island not clear at all. ..very confusing & could easily be accident.

Great school with hard working staff. A wonderful personallity to the place where children of all backgrounds thrive.

This is a school that has really turned itself around. The staff are supportive and helpful. There are numerous after school clubs for the children, as well as onsite before and after school care. Don't discount Cherry Grove because of past reputation. They have changed drastically.

Anchester Acupuncture

1 Whitchurch Rd, Chester CH3 5QA, UK – 07531 406408

I met Tim some years ago when I was suffering from intractable back pain. I had previously been treated with osteopathy and had also had physiotherapy via the NHS with no success. After one treatment from Tim I saw an immediate improvement and following further short-term treatment, I have never suffered with that pain again. I still see Tim just to maintain my generally good health as I get older. Tim is a friendly, welcoming and supportive practitioner. He uses a range of techniques and equipment as necessary and is great at what he does. I thoroughly recommend him to anyone who would like to try acupuncture.

Rowton Hall Hotel & Spa

Whitchurch Rd, Rowton, Chester CH3 6AD, UK – 01244 335262

This hotel is near perfect! Great location, attractive public rooms, comfortable and spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, attentive service, good breakfasts and probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Well done to all concerned!

A great venue for professional events. The food was lovely (although some delegates said some was undercooked) and the conference room well laid out. Tea and coffee were not provided until after the mid-speaker interval when it was all but too late, and a microphone would have been useful as the air conditioning was noisy at times, but otherwise it was great and a top contender for future events.

NHS Direct is now NHS 24. Just dial 111 to speak to a professional or click the link below for there self help website. Lots of really useful info but keep clear of heart surgery! If in doubt ask your GP or call 111. Good luck.

The Crocky Trail

Cotton Abbotts, Waverton, Chester CH3 7PH, UK – 01244 336084

Great place, reasonably priced and something for adults, children and everyone in between. You will get dirty however so a spare set of clothes are probably needed. The trail itself is also well laid out with a good variety of Swings and Bridges of varying abilities along the way and a nice safe trail set at the side for those with limited mobility so family can stay together and all enjoy the trail. Overall a great place for a day out and can't wait to go again.

An excellent park for kids and adults of all ages who enjoy an active day out. Crocky Trail has made the most of a stream running through their land by building lots of different styles of bridges zigzagging their way along it. There are many activities to enjoy all around the trail, many of them being at the start of the trail. There are places to eat, get drinks, ice-creams, snacks and slushies from. A great day had by all.

Give and get free stuff. Here you will find lots of items that people are willing to give away, for FREE! This is instead of taking them to a local landfill site. The aim of this site is to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill (20.9 million tonnes of it last year in the UK) and recycling is great news for the environment.
We all know that we need to recycle more - and this is a great way of doing it.

Brewers Fayre Twirl Of Hay

Caldy Valley Road, Boughton, Great Boughton, Chester CH3 5PR, UK – 01244 315766

We come to Twirl of Hay every nearly every week. The Atmosphere is always great the staff are fantastic, especially Colin and Jacob in the Fun Factory. My Kids love them. The food is Excellent and Amazing value. Puddings. Are excellent.

Tills go down and suddenly they can't serve food. Don't know whether I can finish my drink or leave it and go somewhere else. No staff member seems to have a clue about what to do. Had to go ask for an update and suggested they use pen and paper and guess what, that's what they're going to start doing. This was nearly an hour after we arrived. Not sure if it was laziness or stupidity (or both)!! When the food came (and it wasn't a long wait once they decided to write things down) it and the service were both really good. Just a pity they didn't deal with their situation sooner - they certainly lost a lot of business as we saw group after group leaving because of it. We were there again first thing the next morning for breakfast. Fortunately everything ran smoothly and again the food and service were both very good. lost a star because of the total lack of common sense when the tills went down.

Ring O' Bells

Village Rd, Christleton, Chester CH3 7AS, UK – 01244 335422

Excellent Sunday roast lamb, almost as good as mine! Good value at £11.95. Very welcoming friendly staff apart from 1 bar person who although polite was rather stand offish. Our party of 8 was seated in conservatory which is rather noisy. Go early on Sunday.lunchtime as very busy later on & car park packed.

Good local pub/restaurant. Staff young and helpful, food well above average. Dog friendly which is always a bonus. Kids play area at the back and lots of outside seating. Recommend highly.

Abbey Gate College

Saighton Grange, Saighton Ln, Saighton, Chester CH3 6EN, UK – 01244 332077

We could not have made a better choice of school for our son. The encouragement he continues to receive and the quality of teaching on offer has allowed our son to further enhance his knowledge and skills. This school really is ideal for those seeking the very best for there children with each child being treated with respect and encouraged to get to there highest point of achievement possible. We have nothing but good feelings about our sons future and are so happy that we as a family chose Abbey Gate College for our son.

A wonderful school, amazing teachers who give above and beyond in every child's happiness balanced with encouragement and a personal attention to individuals who may feel they are struggling .My son passed both entrance exams for Kings and Abbeygate, we haven't had any regrets choosing this amazing school
